If you’re a new NDIS participant, you must know your rights and responsibilities to get all the support services in the best possible manner.

Your Rights

  • You have the right to choose your NDIS provider at your convenience. You can select multiple providers for different requirements.
  • You can switch to another provider if you feel the provider is not satisfactory.
  • You have the right to reject any service that you don’t need or want. The service provider cannot pressurize you take specific services.
  • You can pay for the service as per the fund allocated to you and not more than the amount listed on the price guide.

  • You have the responsibility to ensure that the service you receive are directly related to your disability.
  • You need to keep a record of evidence of what you spend using the NDIS fund.
