Rights And Responsibilities Of NDIS Participants
If you’re a new NDIS participant, you must know your rights and responsibilities to get all the support services in the best possible manner.
Your Rights
- You have the right to choose your NDIS provider at your convenience. You can select multiple providers for different requirements.
- You can switch to another provider if you feel the provider is not satisfactory.
- You have the right to reject any service that you don’t need or want. The service provider cannot pressurize you take specific services.
- You can pay for the service as per the fund allocated to you and not more than the amount listed on the price guide.
Your Responsibilities
- You have the responsibility to ensure that the service you receive are directly related to your disability.
- You need to keep a record of evidence of what you spend using the NDIS fund.
